Blackpink, the popular K-pop girl group, has once again proven their global dominance with the release of their 2nd full-length album's pre-release track, "Pink Venom." The music video for the song has surpassed 800 million views on YouTube, making it their 12th achievement to join the elite club.

According to YG Entertainment, the agency of Blackpink, the "Pink Venom" music video reached 800 million views on YouTube at 4:57 PM on the 28th. It took approximately 1 year and 5 months since its release on August 19th, 2022, to achieve this milestone, making it the group's 12th video to reach this impressive number.

The music video for "Pink Venom" also broke records upon its release, becoming the fastest video by a female artist to reach 90.4 million views in just 24 hours. It also achieved 100 million views in just 29 hours and 35 minutes, and 200 million views in just 7 and a half days, solidifying Blackpink's position as one of the most popular K-pop girl groups.

 

Not only did "Pink Venom" dominate the music video charts, but it also topped the iTunes charts in 81 countries and held the top spot on the Billboard Global 200 chart for 2 consecutive weeks and the Billboard Global chart for 3 consecutive weeks. It even made its mark on the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Chart, ranking at 22nd place on both charts.

With 92.81 million subscribers on their official YouTube channel, Blackpink is not only the top K-pop artist but also the top artist in the world. With a total of 45 videos with over a billion views and a cumulative view count of 3.459 billion, Blackpink continues to break records and solidify their title as the "Queens of YouTube."
