Former EXID member Jeong Yuji recently made an appearance on SBS Power FM's 'Two O'Clock Escape Cultwo Show' as a guest alongside musical actors Yang Joon-mo, Lee Ji-hoon, and VIXX's Ken.

When asked by DJ Kim Tae-gyun if this was her first time appearing on the show, Jeong Yuji replied, "I've actually appeared on the show before during my time as an idol." She then went on to explain the reason for her transition from being an idol to a musical actor.

"I debuted as an idol, but my first musical experience was so enjoyable that I decided to make the transition," Jeong Yuji shared.

Jeong Yuji, who was previously a member of both EXID and BESTie, is now pursuing a career in musicals.

 

During the show, Yang Joon-mo was asked if he experiences any back pain from his role as Quasimodo in the musical 'Notre-Dame de Paris.' He replied, "My character has a limp, so I observed a lot of people with leg injuries for inspiration."

When a listener asked if performing barefoot causes any discomfort, Jeong Yuji responded, "It feels free and liberating. It's like I understand why Esmeralda is barefoot."

Lee Ji-hoon also received a great response from the audience with his live performance of 'Why is the Sky.' One listener even commented, "I had no idea Lee Ji-hoon could sing this well."

The DJs then jokingly asked why they didn't know about his singing talent sooner, to which Lee Ji-hoon replied, "I have a hidden talent. It's been kept a secret."

On a more personal note, Lee Ji-hoon also shared his thoughts on becoming a father for the first time. His wife, Ayane, is currently 19 weeks pregnant. He said, "Before, I was just confused, but now I'm excited and looking forward to it."

It's great to see former EXID member Jeong Yuji thriving in her new career as a musical actor. Her transition from being an idol to pursuing her passion in musicals is truly inspiring. I wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
