Jung Dong-won, a trot singer, has recently put an end to speculations about his supposed launch of an idol group and debut as an idol.

 

His agency, Showplay Entertainment, released a statement on the 19th, stating that the rumors of Jung Dong-won's idol group launch and debut are completely false.

Earlier, a media outlet reported that Jung Dong-won would be forming a dance group with members selected through auditions. However, the agency's denial has put an end to these speculations.

Jung Dong-won rose to fame after appearing on TV Chosun's "Mr. Trot" and placing 5th in the final rankings. He has since been actively promoting as a trot singer. Last month, he even debuted as part of the AI idol group JD1.

As a fan of Jung Dong-won, I am glad to hear that he will not be making his debut as an idol.
