Today's bitter news in the entertainment industry involves the arrest of former UN member and singer-actor Kim Jung-hoon. According to reports from the Seoul Seocho Police Station, Kim was recently arrested and released on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act and the Special Act on Traffic Accident Handling.

The incident occurred on December 29th, 2020 at 3:30 AM when Kim was involved in a car accident on the Namhansunhwan-ro in Seoul's Gangnam district. He was driving under the influence and refused to take a breathalyzer test, resulting in his arrest and subsequent release.

This is not the first time Kim has faced legal trouble for drunk driving. In 2011, his license was revoked after being caught with a blood alcohol level of 0.129%. Despite a public apology and a short hiatus, he resumed his activities in the entertainment industry.

However, this is not the only scandal Kim has been involved in. In 2019, he was embroiled in a controversy with his ex-girlfriend over an alleged abortion. He took legal action against her, but the court ruled against him and ordered him to pay 100 million won in damages.

As a fan of Kim's music and acting, I am disappointed by his repeated offenses and lack of responsibility. It is disheartening to see yet another talented artist fall victim to the dangers of drunk driving.
