Moonbyul, member of popular Kpop group MAMAMOO, continues to make strides in her career even after 11 years since her debut.

According to the largest album sales aggregation site in Korea, Hanteo Chart, Moonbyul's first full-length album 'Starlit of Muse' sold a total of 101,720 copies in its first week of release . This surpasses Moonbyul's previous record for highest first week sales, which was held by her single 'C.I.T.T '.

 

The success of 'Starlit of Muse' was predicted early on. The album marks Moonbyul's first full-length release in 9 years and 8 months, featuring a total of 12 tracks including the double title tracks 'Think About' and 'TOUCHIN&MOVIN'. The album showcases Moonbyul's musical growth, with two self-composed songs and a variety of genres including band music.

Not only did Moonbyul take on new musical challenges, but she also underwent a visual transformation. In line with the album's title 'Muse's Starlight', Moonbyul portrayed her inner self as a nine-tailed goddess, receiving a great response from fans. The album artwork captures Moonbyul's solo artist persona shining like starlight in the night sky, and a special exhibition was held to showcase this concept. In other words, the album truly embodies Moonbyul (the muse) and her masterpiece (the starlight).
