HanJiSang, a musical actor from C-JeS Entertainment, has denied allegations of sexual assault made by a female fan and plans to take legal action against the accusations.
On March 22, HanJiSang's legal representative, law firm Decord, released a statement regarding the allegations made against the actor.
According to Decord, HanJiSang had to leave the musical in October 2023 due to extreme anxiety, sleep disorders, and panic attacks, as confirmed by medical professionals. They also stated that the actor has been facing baseless accusations and defamation from some netizens, based on false information and distortions, regarding an incident that occurred between him and a woman, who he had a private relationship with.
As previously stated by HanJiSang, he had been in contact with the woman, referred to as "A," for a long time, starting in 2018. However, there was no physical contact that went against her will, and this was confirmed by the police investigation.
Decord also mentioned that A suddenly contacted HanJiSang after nine months of no communication in 2019, claiming that he had sexually assaulted her and implying that she would make it public unless he apologized. In response, HanJiSang clarified that there was no assault and apologized for any discomfort caused during their relationship.
According to Decord, A was the one who demanded compensation. They stated that she continuously asked for compensation and even mentioned mental distress as a result of the alleged assault. However, her demands escalated to include publicizing their relationship and a large sum of money. HanJiSang could not bear the pressure and offered financial compensation, but A's demands continued to increase.
