# The Birth of the Battle of Kurushu in the "Goryeo-Mongol War" Revealed

As part of its special programming to celebrate the 50th anniversary of public broadcasting, KBS 2TV's hit historical drama "Goryeo-Mongol War" is preparing an exciting special broadcast for the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday.

On the night of the 11th at 9:15 PM, the special broadcast will feature a recap of episodes 14-24, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the epic Kurushu Battle, which will be the highlight of the finale.

In this special broadcast, viewers will get an inside look at the secrets behind the spectacular war scenes that captured everyone's attention. CG director Lee Hyun-dong will introduce the unique aspects and key points of the Kurushu Battle in "Goryeo-Mongol War."

 

Not only that, but a portion of the 30-minute-long Kurushu Battle scene, which was filmed on a specially-made outdoor chroma set, will also be revealed. The scene was meticulously crafted with CG effects to accurately depict the terrain and large-scale battle.

Lee Hyun-dong, the CG director, stated, "We tried to recreate the actual battle as realistically as possible, so viewers can feel like they are right there in the midst of the action. This scene was made with the utmost dedication and will surely go down in history as a milestone in historical dramas."

As a fan of "Goryeo-Mongol War," I am eagerly anticipating this special broadcast and can't wait to see the epic Kurushu Battle come to life on screen.
