Hanter Global has joined hands with Tencent Music Entertainment Group.

 

According to Hanter Global, they have agreed to collaborate with Tencent Music Entertainment Group to provide and aggregate K-pop data within the Chinese market. TME is a pioneer in online music entertainment services in China, offering online music services and social entertainment services centered around music. TME is well-known for its four major mobile music platforms in China - QQ Music, Kugou Music, Kuwo Music, and WeSing - which have accumulated a wide user base.

Through this collaboration, the physical and digital K-pop data consumed on TME's platforms will be linked with Hanter Chart, and will directly reflect on both the Chinese ranking and overall ranking within Hanter Chart. This strategic collaboration between Hanter Global and TME marks a significant turning point in the music market between Korea and China. As the leading K-pop music chart, Hanter Chart's partnership with Tencent Music Entertainment Group is highly anticipated to open up new opportunities for cultural exchange between the two countries.

Hanter Global CEO, Kwak Young-ho, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating, "I am thrilled to announce our partnership with TME. Currently, K-pop is reaching Chinese consumers through TME's music platforms as a top priority." He also added, "Through this collaboration with Hanter Chart, TME has also started directly selling physical albums.
