Divorced Kim Saerom's Story of Being Set Up on a Celebrity Blind Date by Kim Gura? Recently, TV personality Kim Saerom made headlines when she revealed a story about being set up on a blind date by fellow celebrity Kim Gura. During her appearance on MBC's 'Escape: Breakup Mediation Service', Saerom shared that she had refused the blind date arranged by Kim Gura, who had suddenly called her and showed her a photo of a famous person, saying, "How about this person?" As it turns out, the person Kim Gura wanted to introduce her to was KBS PD Lee Chang-soo, who had previously appeared on 'Radio Star' and talked about wanting to meet Saerom. After the broadcast, Lee Chang-soo contacted Kim Gura to express his gratitude. Kim Gura also added that Lee Chang-soo is a bit of a "fanboy" and ev

Through video pre-screening, the Miryam Helen concourse has chosen 56 out of 485 applicants to participate in the competition, representing a total of 61 nationalities.

Opera singer and chair of the Miryam Helen concourse jury, Soile Isokoski, expressed excitement for the promising and talented singers that have been selected for this year's competition.

Isokoski stated, "While of course the first criteria is the applicant's voice, this is just the beginning. We are looking for singers who not only interpret the music as intended, but also bring life to the notes and master all other genres. You can't sing Verdi and Mozart in the same way."

Out of the 56 selected singers, 13 are from Korea, making it the country with the most participants. 4 of the participants are from Finland. The singers also represent 25 nationalities, including Armenia, Germany, Costa Rica, China, USA, Croatia, and Australia. To see the full list of participants, please refer to the official website.

The preliminary competition, accompanied by piano, will take place from June 3-6, 2024. The jury will then select the semi-finalists to move on to the next round.

As a fan of classical music and a lover of international competitions, I am thrilled to see such a diverse and talented group of singers participating in the Miryam Helen concourse. I have no doubt that this will be a competition to remember, and I can't wait to see who will take home the top prize. Best of luck to all the singers representing 25 countries at this prestigious event.
