"Acting is my life. I'm willing to give up anything for it, even my hobbies," said actor Lee Jong-won in a recent interview at a cafe in Gangnam, Seoul.

Lee Jong-won recently captivated audiences with his role as the skilled swordsman Park Soo-ho in the MBC drama "Flower of Evil," which ended on the 17th. The drama, which tells the story of a widow named Jo Yeo-hwa who leads a double life as a masked vigilante at night, recorded an impressive 18.4% viewership rating . Lee Jong-won's chemistry with co-star Lee Ha-na and his comedic yet intense performance kept viewers on the edge of their seats.

For Lee Jong-won, "Flower of Evil" was his first historical drama. To prepare for his role, he spent four to five days a week learning horseback riding and attending action school. He even grew out his hair to perfect his sword fighting skills. It's no surprise that he's become known for his shoulder dance.

"I put in extra effort to prepare for 'Flower of Evil.' It was my first time doing a historical drama and action scenes, so I wanted to keep up with my experienced co-stars like Lee Ha-na. I even had a personal trainer to get abs like Park Soo-ho." (laughs)

"Flower of Evil" also marked Lee Jong-won's first attempt at a romantic role. He shared the screen with senior actress Lee Ha-na, who he had great chemistry with.

"Working with Lee Ha-na was a dream come true. She's such a talented actress and I learned a lot from her. I was nervous at first, but she made me feel comfortable and we were able to create a great on-screen relationship."

As an avid fan of Lee Jong-won, I was blown away by his performance in "Flower of Evil." His dedication and passion for acting truly shone through in every scene. I can't wait to see what he has in store for us next. Keep shining, Lee Jong-won!
