Yu Jae-suk Also Receives 5 Cups of Coffee a Day at Work I Want to Go Home
Yu Jae-suk, also known as "The Nation's MC," has been making audiences laugh for years with his quick wit and hilarious antics. But on the latest episode of MBC's "What Do You Play?" he showed a different side of himself - a relatable one that resonates with many working professionals.
On the show, which aired on the 24th, the members of "What Do You Play?" shared their experiences of working in the corporate world. From HaHa's surprise encounter with his cousin who happens to be his boss, to Lee Yi-kyung and Im Ji-joo's nerve-wracking job interview, to Yu Jae-suk's chaotic life as the youngest manager in his company, the episode had viewers both laughing and nodding in agreement.
HaHa, who recently joined a popular second-hand trading platform, was shocked to see his cousin Chang-joo as his boss. He proudly boasted about his new job, but HaHa couldn't help but tease him, saying, "You used to have a runny nose all the time back in the day." Despite the unexpected field trip and Chang-joo's lack of experience, the two cousins showed great teamwork and passion for their work.
Meanwhile, Lee Yi-kyung, who was thrown into an impromptu job interview, was caught off guard when he found out he was interviewing for the HR department. But he quickly regained his composure and impressed the interviewer with his quick thinking and sense of humor. When asked about his "sense of perception," Lee Yi-kyung cleverly referenced a line from the drama "Marry Me Now," saying, "I said 'I feel like I'm going to die' as an ad-lib." He even took on the role of an angry customer, channeling his inner Park Min-young, and gave a passionate performance that left everyone in awe. In the end, Lee Yi-kyung confidently declared, "I won't show you my back," as he walked out of the interview room.
As someone who has also experienced the ups and downs of working in a corporate setting, I couldn't help but relate to the struggles and triumphs of these "What Do You Play?" members. From the pressure of impressing your boss to the desire to just go home and relax after a long day, their stories reminded me that we all go through similar challenges in our work lives. But at the end of the day, it's important to find joy and passion in what we do, just like these members did. And of course, a little bit of coffee can always help too.
