LG Uplus' 'STUDIO X+U' is back with a new MZ romantic thriller drama, 'Branding In Seongsu-dong'. In the 5th and 6th episodes, Lemon finally wakes up from her unconscious state and comes face to face with her 'soul change' partner, Kim Ji-eun.
In the previous episodes, Lemon was being chased by a mysterious figure wearing a rabbit mask and ended up falling off a building. She wakes up in the hospital, only to find out that her body has been switched with intern So Eun-ho . To make matters worse, Lemon's body is in a critical condition while Eun-ho's soul is now in Lemon's body. Lemon is shocked and confused, trying to make sense of what has happened to her.
As she tries to piece together the events leading up to her fall, Lemon becomes suspicious of everyone around her, including her colleagues at work - her rival team leader Nam (played by Kim Byeol), her fellow intern Do Yu-mi (played by Yang Hye-ji), and even Eun-ho, who is now in her body. Meanwhile, Yu-mi's behavior and a cryptic phone call she makes raise even more doubts in Lemon's mind.
With Lemon's absence, Yu-mi takes over her position as the marketing team leader. Eun-ho, on the other hand, is now a lowly employee in the underdog team at Seongsu Agency. Lemon, determined to find the person responsible for her body switch and attempted murder, decides to go back to work at Seongsu Agency in Eun-ho's body. However, things are not easy as Yu-mi constantly interferes with their work and the team faces internal conflicts. To make matters worse, they have very little evidence to go on in their search for the culprit.
As Eun-ho in Lemon's body, Lemon joins forces with her underdog team members - Lee Yeong-ae (played by Jung Yi-rang), Joo Rex (played by Jeon Jun-ho), and Park Je-ni (played by Chae Soo-ah) - to work on a rebranding project for a handmade shoe factory. However, Yu-mi's pressure and interference make it difficult for them to come up with a successful plan. And with the lack of evidence, Lemon's search for the culprit seems to hit a dead end.
As a fan of MZ dramas, I was excited to see Lemon and Kim Ji-eun's chemistry on screen. However, the plot twist of Lemon's body being switched with Eun-ho's adds an interesting layer to the story. I can't wait to see how Lemon and Eun-ho navigate their new bodies and solve the mystery behind their soul change. Will they be able to find the culprit and switch back to their own bodies? And what role will Kim Ji-eun play in all of this? I'm eagerly waiting for the next episodes of 'Branding In Seongsu-dong' to find out.
