Singer Taeyin Ah showcased his unwavering love for his wife on a recent episode of TV Chosun's variety show, "Chosun's Lovebirds." On December 12th, Taeyin Ah and his wife Okgyeong appeared on the show, revealing their daily life as a couple and the behind-the-scenes of Taeyin Ah's 50th anniversary dinner show.

During the episode, Taeyin Ah shared that his wife was diagnosed with early onset dementia five years ago. He expressed his gratitude and love for her, stating that without those feelings, he wouldn't be able to take care of her. He also shared that he has a duty to treat his wife well and that she has the right to receive love from him.

 

Reflecting on the first time he met his wife, Taeyin Ah recalled, "I was eating when she came in with her friends. I thought to myself, 'That's my woman.'" Despite initially rejecting his advances, Okgyeong eventually opened up to him and they started their married life in New York.

As they looked back on their time together, Taeyin Ah tearfully expressed, "I hope I can slowly forget myself." The MCs couldn't help but shed tears as well, moved by the couple's love for each other.

The episode also featured Taeyin Ah's 50th anniversary dinner show, where he captivated the audience with his performances. During one of his songs, he broke down in tears, expressing his remorse towards his wife. He even kneeled in front of her in the audience and cried out, "Honey, I love you. You are the only one for me."

As someone who is passionate about raising awareness for dementia, it was heartwarming to see Taeyin Ah and Okgyeong's love for each other. It's important to remember that even in the face of such a difficult disease, love and support can make all the difference.
