# Hwang Jung-eum and Lee Young-don's Divorce Lawsuit: What We Know So Far

Actress Hwang Jung-eum is currently going through a divorce lawsuit with her husband, former pro-golfer and businessman Lee Young-don.

On October 22, her agency, YW Entertainment, released a statement saying that after careful consideration, Hwang Jung-eum has decided to file for divorce as it has become difficult for her to continue the marriage. They also asked for understanding and privacy regarding the details of the divorce.

 

The news of their divorce came after Hwang Jung-eum posted a series of photos of Lee Young-don on her social media with cryptic captions, sparking rumors of trouble in their marriage. The couple got married in 2016 and faced a rough patch in 2020 when they filed for divorce, but reconciled in July 2021 and welcomed their second child the following year.

As a fan of Hwang Jung-eum, I am saddened by the news of their divorce. However, I believe that it is their personal matter and we should respect their privacy. Let us refrain from spreading rumors and making assumptions that could harm their reputation and cause unnecessary pain.

In other news, a recent Dailyan survey showed that if the presidential election were to be held today, Han Dong-hoon would lead with 46.4% of the votes, followed by Lee Jae-myung with 40.2%. The survey also revealed that 32.8% of the respondents believe that Lee Jae-myung is the one to blame for the Democratic Party's defeat, surpassing Lee Nak-yeon by 5.5%. Meanwhile, President Yoon's approval rating is at 45.1%, with positive evaluations for his plan to increase medical school admissions. In terms of party preference, the People's Future Party leads with 39.7%, followed by the Democratic Proportional Alliance with 26.8%.
