In the latest episode of the MBC drama "Blooming at Night" that aired on the 9th, we finally got a glimpse into the mysterious past of Lee Jongwon and Lee Hanee .

In the scene, Park Yoonhak (played by Lee Kiwoo) discovers the true identity of Jo Yeohwa (played by Lee Hanee) and confronts Lee Jongwon about it. When asked why Park Yoonhak is looking for his long-lost uncle, Lee Jongwon responds with a cryptic "I cannot give you an answer." Feeling frustrated, Jo Yeohwa decides to leave.

But then, Lee Jongwon opens up and reveals the truth. He confesses that he didn't want his wife to be in danger, so he did nothing and struggled with what to do. Jo Yeohwa asks if he has found an answer, to which Lee Jongwon responds with a shocking revelation.

He reveals that his real name is Im Jaein and that he was the last hidden prince of the Sun King. He also admits that his father is none other than Im Kang, the man who was thought to have been killed on the day of his disappearance. Jo Yeohwa is stunned and asks what happened on that day.

Lee Jongwon explains that he was left to die in a pool of blood, but his brother Lee Jongwon saved him and raised him as his own son. He has been living with this secret and hiding his true identity all this time. Jo Yeohwa is in disbelief and asks what really happened on that day.

Lee Jongwon reveals that he and Park Yoonhak are both searching for the truth about that day, and Jo Yeohwa decides to go see Park Yoonhak again. Lee Jongwon is worried about her safety, but Jo Yeohwa reassures him and says, "My worries are over now."

In the end, Jo Yeohwa declares, "I am more than just a mere princess, I am the daughter of a king." This shocking revelation adds a new layer to the already complicated love story between Lee Jongwon and Lee Hanee.
