According to SBS Media Net, SBS will be airing two special programs during the Lunar New Year holiday from February 9th to 11th. The first one is the "Namjin Live Concert: Life is Like the Wind," followed by the "The Trot Show Special Live Show." Both programs will be broadcasted on SBS FiL, SBS M, and SBS FiL UHD.
The "Namjin Live Concert" is a project funded by the Ministry of Science and ICT's New Technology Convergence Content Project, with support from the Korea Communications Commission. It features the use of AI technology to recreate the appearance and voice of a young Namjin, who will then perform alongside the present-day Namjin. The concert will be filmed in 4K, giving viewers a realistic and immersive experience.
In a statement, Namjin expressed his excitement for the concert, saying that he never even dreamed of performing with an AI version of himself. He also asked fans to look forward to the show and the unique collaboration between him and the AI Namjin.
The second program, "The Trot Show Special Live Show," is a gathering of artists from the entertainment company, Think Entertainment, on the eve of the Lunar New Year in 2024. The artists will come together to share their memories and perform their hit songs, creating a heartwarming and entertaining show.
In a pre-show performance, artists such as Geumjandi, Moon Hee-kyung, Kim Seung-hyun, Heo Kyung-hwan, Kim Seon-geun, Younggi, Ahn Sung-hoon, Jung Da-kyung, Hong Ji-yoon, and Kang Ye-seul showcased their talents and collaborated on various stages. The show was filled with lively performances and heartwarming stories, setting the tone for the upcoming Lunar New Year.
