As a Kpop fan, I have always admired SHINee's Key for his incredible dance skills and unique style. But lately, I can't help but wonder, where has his reputation as a 'Short Form Addict' gone?
On a recent episode of tvN's 'Amazing Saturday', Key's performance in a boy group dance battle fell short. The special 300th episode featured a game of 'Mafia Boss', where the members of the show had to successfully complete a task to win a prize of 3 million won. Unfortunately, Key and his team failed to complete the task, leaving them disappointed.
During the game, Key's fellow member Onew and actor Moon Se-yoon were unfairly eliminated in the first and second rounds. Key himself was eliminated in the third round, but not before adding some tension by threatening the other players with his 'mafia' status.
After the game, the members enjoyed a meal together and Key revealed a secret he had written on the game board. However, fellow member Nucksal playfully scolded him for not noticing it earlier, causing everyone to laugh.
The next game was a 'friendship game' where the members had to guess the lyrics to nostalgic songs. As it was the 300th episode, the songs chosen were from the 588 songs they had played in previous episodes.
The first song was Seventeen's 'Very Nice', which was successfully guessed by host Shin Dong-yup. This song was also the first song ever played on the show, bringing back memories for the members.
As a fan, I can't help but feel disappointed that Key's 'Short Form Addict' reputation seems to have disappeared. But I still have faith in his talent and unique style, and I hope to see more of it in the future. What do you think, fellow Kpop fans? Let me know in the comments below.
