YG Entertainment is on a mission to continue the success of their popular girl group, Blackpink, by discovering and nurturing the next big thing. Fans are eagerly anticipating who will be the next generation of stars to follow in the footsteps of YG Entertainment's top artists.

On the 13th, YG Entertainment announced a joint global audition with Japanese company Avex, marking the first time in 8 years that they have opened auditions to all genders and nationalities. The audition will take place in 7 major cities in Japan, including Sapporo, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Osaka, Tokyo, Sendai, and Okinawa, with a total of 10 rounds.
