Jang Hyuk Standing Alone from Family and Agency Changed Perspective on the World
# Jang Hyuk: Standing Alone from Family and Agency, Changed Perspective on the World
As an avid fan of Korean dramas, I have always been curious about the lives of my favorite actors outside of their on-screen roles. Recently, I came across an interesting revelation from one of my favorite actors, Jang Hyuk, on the popular MBC variety show 'Radio Star'. In the episode, Jang Hyuk opened up about his decision to stand alone from his family and agency, and how it has changed his perspective on the world.
Jang Hyuk, along with fellow actors Kim Min Jae, Ha Do Kwon, and Kim Do Hoon, appeared on the show's 'Actor's Special' episode on the 13th of May. When asked by the host Kim Gook Jin if it was true that he had stood alone for 26 years, Jang Hyuk confirmed it by saying, "Since my debut in 1997, I have been with the same agency. However, last year, my contract ended and I decided to go independent. So now, I am managing my career without a manager."
He further explained, "Being on my own has allowed me to plan my own projects and have more freedom in my career choices. It has also given me the opportunity to meet more people." Jang Hyuk expressed his satisfaction with standing alone, saying that it has made him much more comfortable than before.
The hosts were curious if Jang Hyuk had come to the show alone, to which he replied, "Yes, I even drove myself here." This led to a funny moment when fellow guest Jang Do Yeon asked if he had ended up at the wrong broadcasting station, to which Jang Hyuk replied, "I got really confused..."
Kim Gook Jin then expressed his concern about negotiating his own appearance fees without a manager, to which Jang Hyuk admitted, "It can be difficult." Kim Goo Ra jokingly added, "With that serious look, I feel like you might ask for more money now."
As a fan, I have always admired Jang Hyuk's acting skills, but after hearing about his decision to stand alone, I have gained a newfound respect for him. It takes a lot of courage to break away from the comfort and security of a family and agency and venture out on your own. Jang Hyuk's changed perspective on the world and his career is truly inspiring. I look forward to seeing more of his amazing work in the future.
