Singer Kim Ho-jung has been diagnosed with a serious ankle condition.

On the recent episode of SBS's "Our Ugly Duckling," which aired on the 3rd, we got a glimpse into the daily life of "Trot Genius" Kim Ho-jung, who made a comeback after 4 years. We were also able to see his new house and learn about his health condition.

Upon waking up in his new "multi-room," where everything from sleeping to showering can be done in one place, Kim Ho-jung surprised his roommates by eating honey, practicing singing, ordering delivery food, having a meal, and even watching dramas all from the comfort of his bed.

 

When he finally got up from bed, he was still in the sauna room within his "multi-room." As a result, he had only taken 93 steps the entire day.

A few days later, Kim Ho-jung rushed to the hospital for an MRI and X-ray after experiencing pain in his ankle. He revealed to the doctor that his ankle has always been a problem for him and has greatly affected his quality of life.

He shared, "When I was in elementary school, I injured my ankle while playing sports. It wasn't a complete sprain, but I had to wear a cast for 2 weeks to a month. The X-ray showed that my ligaments were stretched out, but there were no issues with the bones."

It's unfortunate to hear that Kim Ho-jung has been struggling with joint pain for so long, and it's no wonder that he has gained weight due to his limited mobility. It's important to take care of our joints and seek medical attention when needed, as it can greatly affect our daily lives. Let's wish Kim Ho-jung a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on stage soon.
