As a Kdrama fan, I have been eagerly anticipating the new MBC drama '밤에 피는 꽃' and it did not disappoint. The fourth episode, which aired on the 20th, had me on the edge of my seat as 조여화 (played by 이하늬) went undercover to uncover a mysterious case.

The previous three episodes had already set the stage for a thrilling plot, with 조여화's character venturing into a poor neighborhood to investigate her grandmother's disappearance. But when she discovers that her grandmother's granddaughter has been kidnapped, the drama takes a whole new turn. And the ratings prove it - with a viewership of 11% in the Seoul area (according to Nielsen Korea), '밤에 피는 꽃' has become the number one program across all channels.

 

But it's not just the ratings that have me hooked. 이하늬's transformation into a male scholar was spot on, both in terms of appearance and acting. And her comedic timing when trying to hide her true identity had me laughing out loud. The production team has praised her for her versatility and I couldn't agree more.

As the drama progresses, I can't help but wonder how 조여화 will navigate through the suspicious activities within the women's quarters. Will she be able to uncover the truth without blowing her cover? I can't wait to find out.

Overall, '밤에 피는 꽃' has all the elements of a great Kdrama - a gripping plot, talented actors, and unexpected twists. I highly recommend tuning in to see 이하늬's captivating performance. Who knows what surprises the next episode will bring?
