Divorced Kim Saerom's Story of Being Set Up on a Celebrity Blind Date by Kim Gura? Recently, TV personality Kim Saerom made headlines when she revealed a story about being set up on a blind date by fellow celebrity Kim Gura. During her appearance on MBC's 'Escape: Breakup Mediation Service', Saerom shared that she had refused the blind date arranged by Kim Gura, who had suddenly called her and showed her a photo of a famous person, saying, "How about this person?" As it turns out, the person Kim Gura wanted to introduce her to was KBS PD Lee Chang-soo, who had previously appeared on 'Radio Star' and talked about wanting to meet Saerom. After the broadcast, Lee Chang-soo contacted Kim Gura to express his gratitude. Kim Gura also added that Lee Chang-soo is a bit of a "fanboy" and ev

[Opinion] The latest episode of '남과여' had me on the edge of my seat, as the characters navigated through complex gender dynamics and workplace relationships. As a Korean, I couldn't help but relate to the struggles and emotions portrayed by the characters.

In the fifth episode of the Channel A drama, we see the aftermath of the breakup between Jung Hyun-sung and Han Sung-ok, played by Lee Seol. Hyun-sung's character is consumed by the pain of their separation, and it's heart-wrenching to watch. But what caught my attention the most was the revelation of the relationship between the older man, Ahn Si-hoo, and the younger woman, Yoon Yoo-joo, played by Choi Won-myeong and Baek Soo-hee, respectively.

As Si-hoo and Yoo-joo's past is slowly unveiled, we see the depth of their connection and the innocence of their first love. However, Yoo-joo is currently in a relationship with a possessive boyfriend, and she turns to Si-hoo for comfort. The two end up spending the night together, but their peaceful moment is interrupted when Yoo-joo's boyfriend calls and she blurts out that she slept with Si-hoo. The boyfriend's violent reaction left me shocked and saddened.

Meanwhile, Kim Hyung-seop, played by Kim Hyun-mok, chooses to prioritize his friendship with Hyun-sung over his feelings for Sung-ok. As he walks home with a heavy heart, he runs into Hyun-sung and is immediately questioned about who he was with. Hyun-sung's reaction to seeing his friend with someone else was heartbreaking to witness.

On the other hand, Oh Min-hyuk, played by Im Jae-hyuk, struggles with his feelings for his longtime friend, Kim Hye-ryung, played by Yoon Ye-ju. Despite knowing that she has a boyfriend, Min-hyuk decides to confess his feelings. In a rare moment, he dresses up in a suit and takes Hye-ryung to a fancy restaurant, where he finally opens up about his feelings.

As a Korean, I couldn't help but see the parallels between the characters' struggles and the gender dynamics and workplace relationships in our society. It's a harsh reality that many of us face, and it's refreshing to see it being portrayed in a drama.

Overall, '남과여' continues to impress me with its realistic portrayal of Korean culture and the complexities of relationships. I can't wait to see how the story unfolds in the upcoming episodes.
