Kim Dong-joon and Choi Soo-jong have safely returned.

In the KBS 2TV drama 'Goryeo-Goryeo War', which aired on the 27th, the Jurchens, who were preparing for a second invasion, sent assassins to pressure the Goryeo emperor to fulfill their demands.

On this day, Hyun-jong (played by Kim Dong-joon) returned on horseback with Kang Gam-chan (Choi Soo-jong) and expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you for being alive. Please never leave my side again. I need your guidance."

Won-sung (played by Ha Seung-ri) expressed his concerns, saying, "Your Majesty, are you really going to the noble families? Why didn't you stop them? Right now, even the martial artists are being driven out."

After Hyun-jong's return, Queen Won-jeong (played by Lee Si-ah) said, "Your Majesty, are you safe? I have never wished for you to be harmed, even though I opposed your decision." To this, Hyun-jong replied, "Didn't you say that there are a million soldiers hidden in the name of the emperor? Did the Queen also know about the gathering of noble families in the Kang clan?"

After a moment of silence, Queen Won-jeong answered, "Yes." Hyun-jong then asked, "Did you also know that the martial artists would be chased after?" To this, Queen Won-jeong replied, "Yes. She added, "After this time passes, I will look towards one place." However, Hyun-jong gave a cold response, saying, "Well, I'm not sure about that."

Meanwhile, Won-sung also showed relief upon hearing the news of Hyun-jong's safe return.

As I watched this episode, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the strong bond between Hyun-jong and Kang Gam-chan. Their loyalty and trust in each other is truly admirable. However, I also couldn't help but feel frustrated with the constant threats and pressure from the Jurchens. It's clear that they will stop at nothing to get what they want, and it's up to the Goryeo emperor to stand strong and protect his people.

But as the drama unfolds, I can't help but wonder if there is a deeper meaning behind the Jurchens' actions. Are they truly just after power and control, or is there something else driving their actions? I hope to see more development in the upcoming episodes and find out the truth behind this war.
