NewJin's debut song 'Cookie' has surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify.

According to Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, 'Cookie' from NewJin's debut album 'New Jeans' has been played 260,4197 times as of the 24th. This marks the sixth song from NewJin to reach 200 million streams.

 

Released in August 2022, 'Cookie' is a catchy hip-hop song with a minimal beat and cute lyrics. The New York Times even named it as one of the best songs of 2022, praising its "comfortable and not over-the-top" vibe.

NewJin's songs have been consistently loved on Spotify, with no distinction between their new releases and previous ones. They have a total of 10 songs with over 100 million streams on Spotify. 'OMG' and 'Ditto' have over 500 million streams each, 'Super Shy' and 'Hype Boy' have over 400 million streams each, 'Attention' has over 300 million streams, 'Cookie' has over 200 million streams, and 'Hurt', 'New Jeans', 'ETA', and 'Cool With You' have over 100 million streams each. In total, NewJin's songs have been streamed over 3.5 billion times on Spotify.

On March 6th, NewJin will be awarded the 'Group of the Year' at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards.
