Park Seulgi Confesses About Her Four Miscarriage Experiences
On the 23rd, Park Seulgi appeared on Channel A's 'Oh Eun Young's Golden Counseling Room'.
During the show, Park Seulgi opened up about her concerns for her first daughter, Soye Yang, saying, "I'm worried that she may have attachment issues."
Park Seulgi married her husband, Gong Moon Sung, who is one year older than her, in 2016 and gave birth to her daughter, Soye Yang, in 2020. Last November, she also announced her second pregnancy and received many congratulations.
Park Seulgi shared with Dr. Oh Eun Young, "When I see my neighbor's child getting hurt and their mother taking care of them, I think to myself, 'I want to get hurt too. I want to bleed'."
To this, Dr. Oh Eun Young responded, "It seems like your daughter needs to be strong and intense in all aspects. She may find satisfaction in her strong reactions. It's possible that her behavior is related to your miscarriages, but it's important to be cautious."
Park Seulgi then revealed, "It took me four years of marriage to have a child. I have ulcerative colitis, so my intestines are weak. I was told that it might be difficult for me to get pregnant, so I tried to empty my mind. But after four years, I was blessed with a child. It was a huge gift, and that's why I wanted to have my second child quickly."
She continued, "I got pregnant at the right time, but while doing the dishes, I had a miscarriage. When I went to the hospital, they told me they couldn't hear the baby's heartbeat. I didn't want to show my emotions to my first daughter, so I sent her to daycare and then cried."
Despite facing four miscarriages and three surgeries, Park Seulgi did not give up on her second pregnancy.
She concluded, "I had three surgeries and one miscarriage. It was a difficult time, but I never gave up. I believe that everything happens for a reason and I am grateful for my two daughters. Through my experiences, I want to raise awareness for miscarriages and support other women who may be going through the same thing."
In my opinion, Park Seulgi's bravery in sharing her story and raising awareness for miscarriages is commendable. It takes a lot of strength and courage to open up about such a personal and emotional topic. I hope her story can provide comfort and support to others who may be struggling with similar experiences. Let's continue to spread awareness and support each other in the journey of motherhood.
