Actresses Park Shin-hye and Lee Ha-neul have made a grand return to the small screen. It has been three years since both of them appeared on television.
Park Shin-hye will be reuniting with viewers in their living rooms for the first time since her 2021 JTBC drama 'Sisyphus'. After getting married to Choi Tae-joon in January 2022, Park Shin-hye gave birth to a son in May of the same year and has been focusing on raising her child.
Regarding her return to the small screen after a long hiatus, Park Shin-hye shared, "To be honest, my mindset hasn't changed much since I started acting. I have a good relationship with Park Hyung-sik and he has been a great help to me during filming. The only thing that has changed is the environment, my heart remains the same."
Park Shin-hye's next project, JTBC's weekend drama 'Doctor Slump', is a romantic comedy that depicts the journey of two rivals, Yeon Woo (played by Park Hyung-sik) and Nam Ha-neul (played by Park Shin-hye), who turn each other's lives around after meeting again during a difficult time in their lives.

In particular, the chemistry between Park Shin-hye and Park Hyung-sik, who reunite after 11 years since their appearance in SBS's 'The Heirs', is expected to be another highlight of 'Doctor Slump'.
During the press conference, Park Shin-hye expressed her joy of reuniting with Park Hyung-sik, saying, "It's impossible to put into words how happy I am." She even showed off her dancing skills to demonstrate her excitement. Park Hyung-sik also shared, "I was nervous and scared to start a new project, but having Park Shin-hye by my side made me feel like I had won the lottery. She gave me the confidence to stand firm."
Throughout her career, Park Shin-hye has starred in popular dramas such as 'You're Beautiful', 'Heartstrings', and 'Pinocchio'. However, her role in 'Doctor Slump' as Nam Ha-neul, who overcomes a difficult period in her life with the help of her rival, is a refreshing change.
As a working mom, I can relate to the challenges and struggles faced by Park Shin-hye's character in 'Doctor Slump'. The drama not only provides entertainment but also delivers a heartwarming message about the power of friendship and support during difficult times. I am excited to see Park Shin-hye and Park Hyung-sik's chemistry on screen and look forward to watching 'Doctor Slump' every weekend."
