Reflecting on 'My Deamon' with Kim Yoo-jung The Bittersweet Return of Song Kang's Departure

 

As a fan of the SBS drama 'My Deamon', I couldn't help but feel bittersweet as I watched the 15th episode where Song Kang's character, Guwon, left the show. The scene where Kim Yoojung's character, Dodohee, reminisced about their time together was particularly heart-wrenching.

In the episode, Dodohee was so consumed with work that she didn't even have time to eat lunch. Her colleague, Joo Seokhoon, noticed her behavior and brought her lunch, asking if Guwon had really left. Dodohee explained that their contract had ended and Guwon had only agreed to stay until they caught the criminal and retrieved his tattoo. But it was clear that she was still hurting from his departure.

 

Even Dodohee's secretary and colleague, Park Bokgyu, were worried about her. Bokgyu reminded her that love may be short, but breakups can be tough. He also asked Dodohee to take care of herself, showing his concern for her well-being.

As a viewer, I couldn't help but feel sad for Dodohee and Guwon's separation. Their chemistry was one of the highlights of the show, and I will miss seeing them together. But at the same time, I understand that their characters had to part ways for the story to progress. I'm excited to see how the rest of the drama unfolds and how Dodohee and Guwon's relationship will develop.
