# World Idol Fan Club Donates Snacks to Malnourished Children - Spreading Happiness and Good Health

The virtual idol group, WorldIdol, has recently made a heartwarming donation to malnourished children in need. The donation was made by their fan club, "Leafari," and included apple juice, banana milk, meatballs, and snacks.

This act of charity was in celebration of WorldIdol's recent achievement of being ranked first in the K-pop fandom community platform, "Podoal," for the second half of 2023. The donated snacks were delivered to malnourished children at a local child center in Gyeonggi Province.

 

WorldIdol, a six-member group under WAK Entertainment, has been gaining popularity since their debut in December 2021 with their digital single album, "RE:WIND," which topped the Melon charts. Their YouTube channel, "Wakta Bus," currently has 655,000 subscribers.

Leafari expressed their hopes for the malnourished children to enjoy the snacks they personally voted for and grow up happily and healthily. They also stated their desire to continue spreading positive influence and making a difference in the lives of children for a better tomorrow.

The Secretary-General of the NGO, Hope Pledge, thanked Leafari for their generous donation and stated their commitment to working hard to bring happiness to malnourished children. Hope Pledge is dedicated to providing hope and support to underprivileged children through initiatives such as delivering hope lunchboxes and providing school supplies and cultural activities.
