Actress Lim Se-ju has made a strong impression as a crime victim in the Netflix series 'Murderer's Dilemma'. In the recently released 5th episode, Lim Se-ju portrays the character of Choi Kyung-ah, a woman who struggles to live her life after being betrayed by her trusted lover.

 

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name by author Kkoma-bi, 'Murderer's Dilemma' tells the story of a college student, Lee Tang, who accidentally becomes a murderer and is relentlessly pursued by detective Jang Nan-gam . The series gained attention for its bold storytelling and sensational plot.

In the drama, Lim Se-ju plays the role of Choi Kyung-ah, a woman who has lost everything after her ex-boyfriend leaked her private videos. She changes her name and appearance to start a new life, but unfortunately falls victim to another betrayal by a childhood friend. Despite her short appearance, Lim Se-ju's portrayal of a traumatized victim living a life of despair is chillingly realistic, leaving a lasting impact on viewers.

Debuting in 2015 with the film 'The Classified File', Lim Se-ju has since made a name for herself with notable roles in various dramas such as tvN's 'Second Twenties', MBC's 'She Was Pretty', and KBS 2TV's 'My Only One'. In the 2020 tvN drama 'Maestro', she captivated audiences with her charming portrayal of Secretary Hwang.

The 8-episode series 'Murderer's Dilemma' was released globally on Netflix on the 9th. As a fan of Lim Se-ju, I was excited to see her take on a different type of role and was not disappointed. Her performance as Choi Kyung-ah was powerful and left a strong impression, making her a standout in the already stellar cast.
