FT Island Releases OST 'Versailles Rose' for Webtoon 'Siren'

 

FTIsland, one of my favorite bands, has announced their collaboration with the popular webtoon 'Siren' by releasing their new OST 'Versailles Rose' on various online music platforms on the 14th of this month at 6 PM.

'Versailles Rose' is a title track from the first album of the band Nemesis, 'La Rose De Versailles', released in 2005. This time, it has been reborn with the refreshing yet emotional voice of FTIsland's lead vocalist, Lee Hongki. The powerful piano playing and band sound have also added to the perfection of the song, raising the curiosity of music fans.

In particular, Lee Hongki's unique vocals will beautifully express the lyrics, "What people want / is a bigger change than love / In a different world, I will only love you / Don't fall asleep, it's not time yet / Look at me, I'm still here." It is expected that he will bring out the charm of the original work to the fullest.

 

FTIsland has been loved for their unique musical color and released hit songs such as 'Sage', 'Wind', 'I Don't Know How to Love', and 'Wish'. With their upcoming release of 'Versailles Rose', the anticipation of listeners towards FTIsland's new sound is rising.

The webtoon 'Siren' on KakaoPage is a romantic fantasy based on the original novel 'Siren: Becoming a Villain's Contract Family'. The beautiful illustrations by webtoon artist Poya have received high praise for their perfect chemistry with the original story. With its sincere storytelling and stunning artwork, the webtoon has gained a strong fan base not only in Korea but also in China, Japan, North America, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, and France.
