# Saying Farewell to 'Morning Window': Kim Chang-wan's Emotional Final Broadcast

After 23 years of hosting the popular radio show 'Morning Window', singer and actor Kim Chang-wan bid farewell to his listeners in a tearful final broadcast on April 14th. As a long-time fan of the show, I couldn't help but feel emotional as I listened to Kim Chang-wan's heartfelt words and watched him shed tears during his last episode.

For those who may not be familiar with 'Morning Window', it is a daily radio show that has been airing on SBS PowerFM since October 2000. Kim Chang-wan has been the beloved host of the show, greeting his listeners every morning with his warm and cheerful personality. Over the years, he has become like a family member to his loyal listeners, and many tuned in every day to start their mornings with his soothing voice and delightful music.

During his final broadcast, Kim Chang-wan shared his thoughts on leaving the show, saying, "I wanted to be the eternal butler of the 'Morning Window' family, so I dressed up as a butler this morning. It finally hit me that this is the real end." He also expressed his gratitude to his listeners, saying, "Every day felt like a dream or a fairy tale, and I left my house with a sense of reverence and determination to make the most of each day."

As the show came to an end, Kim Chang-wan played his last song, strumming his guitar and singing with all his heart. However, as the commercial break began, he couldn't hold back his tears, and it was evident that saying goodbye was not easy for him.

But this is not the end for Kim Chang-wan. After taking some time to recharge, he will be back on the airwaves in the second half of the year, hosting a new radio show on Love FM. As a fan, I am eagerly looking forward to hearing his voice and listening to his stories once again.

In conclusion, Kim Chang-wan's departure from 'Morning Window' marks the end of an era for many listeners, including myself. His warm and comforting presence will be greatly missed, but I am grateful for the memories and joy that he has brought to our mornings for the past 23 years. Thank you, Kim Chang-wan, for being the butler of our hearts and for making our mornings a little brighter.
