This spring, the battle for the title of the next generation leader of K-pop girl groups is heating up between two groups from survival shows - Idol and Unis. Both groups are set to debut at the end of this month, with much anticipation surrounding their rivalry.

Idol, formed through JTBC's 'All You Next', and Unis, from SBS's 'Universe Ticket', are both making their debut with the goal of becoming the representative girl group of the 5th generation. Idol, consisting of Yuna, Minju, Moca, Wonhee, and Aroha, has already gained attention as the "youngest daughter of Hive" through their promotion strategy of showcasing their "diamond spoon" background. As the first girl group to debut under Hive in two years, following the success of NewJeans and Lusyrafeem, Idol is already making waves in the global short-form content market, such as TikTok.

Their team name, Idol, is a combination of the words "independent" and "something special", representing their potential to become anything they want. With their popularity from the survival show, they have already been invited to Paris Fashion Week and are making unique global moves.

Hive's chairman, Bang Si-hyuk, is producing Idol's debut mini album, "Super Real Me".
