As we all know, former T-ara member Areum is currently in the midst of a divorce lawsuit. However, things have taken a shocking turn as she recently revealed the truth about her ex-husband's alleged child abuse.
In a post on her social media, Areum shared, "As you may know, I am currently in the middle of a lawsuit. It's a sensitive matter, but I believe it's something that the public should be aware of. The news often reports cases of child abuse, and unfortunately, my children were also victims of it."
She went on to expose her ex-husband's behavior, saying, "Throughout our marriage, he was addicted to gambling and would take out loans without any regard for our living expenses. He never once provided for our children." Areum then shockingly revealed, "During a custody negotiation, I was told that he would often throw our one-year-old onto the bed, and our five-year-old would be physically abused and kicked out of the house while I was sleeping."
She continued, "He would also spit on our children, urinate on their faces, and even smear feces on our older child's face. These are just some of the horrific things that happened to our children. Not to mention the physical abuse and other unimaginable acts he committed against me throughout our marriage."
Areum also mentioned that she has collected all the evidence, including recordings, and is determined to fight for her children's rights. She stated, "I will not back down and will do everything in my power to win this battle."
It's heartbreaking to hear about such a traumatic experience, especially for the innocent children involved. As a mother myself, I cannot imagine the pain and suffering Areum and her children have gone through. I hope that justice will be served, and the truth will prevail in this case.
