Pre-registration for Paid Badges for Jeonju International Film Festival Begins!
# Jeonju International Film Festival to Begin Pre-Registration for Paid Badges
The Jeonju International Film Festival is set to begin pre-registration for its paid badges on March 14th. The pre-registration period for guest, industry, and press badges will run until April 16th at 5 PM, while pre-registration for academy badges will end on April 4th at 5 PM.
Since 2017, the Jeonju International Film Festival has implemented a paid badge system in order to provide differentiated services and create a fair cultural environment in accordance with the law prohibiting bribery and embezzlement. The festival offers a total of four types of paid badges: guest, industry, press, and academy.
Guest and industry badges are available for government agencies, public institutions, employees, and those working in the film industry. Those interested in participating in the Jeonju Project can apply for an industry badge. The pre-registration fee is 70,000 won per person and can be done online until April 16th at 5 PM. On-site registration will be available from May 1st to May 10th during the festival, with a fee of 100,000 won per person.
Press badges are available for journalists and film critics from domestic and international media outlets such as newspapers, broadcasting stations, magazines, and online media. Pre-registration is free and can be done until April 16th at 5 PM. On-site registration will also be available during the festival, with a fee of 50,000 won per person.
Academy badges are available for students and faculty members of film and video-related educational institutions in Korea. Pre-registration is free and can be done until April 4th at 5 PM. On-site registration will also be available during the festival, with a fee of 30,000 won per person.
As a film enthusiast, I am excited to attend the Jeonju International Film Festival and experience the diverse range of films and events it has to offer. The paid badge system not only ensures a fair and ethical environment, but also allows for a more organized and efficient festival experience for attendees. I highly recommend pre-registering for badges to avoid any last-minute hassle and to support the festival's efforts in promoting a healthy film culture. See you at the festival!
