Online communities are buzzing with the news of a famous idol group member caught reselling gifts given by fans. It was revealed that one member of the 7-member boy group had sold a gift given by a fan on a second-hand marketplace.

On January 28th, user A posted on X, "Idol caught selling fan gifts on second-hand marketplace," along with screenshots of the member, B, posting the item for sale and their conversation.

In mid-January, B had listed a branded item on a second-hand trading platform, "Bunjang," for 150,000 won. In the item description, B wrote, "I bought this item myself in Japan this fall for around 270,000-280,000 won. I can't wear it anymore because the printing has come off a bit after washing, so I'm selling it cheap."

 

User A, who stumbled upon the post, verified the seller's information and confirmed that it was indeed member B. A then messaged B, saying, "You know that I like you a lot. If you understand my feelings, I can understand and move on."

In response, B explained, "I've been feeling stressed lately, so I've been buying things I want to cheer myself up. But I couldn't ask my parents for money, so I decided to sell it quickly. I'm really sorry."

A explained their reason for exposing B, saying, "I didn't want to post this because I know your secret and I wanted to continue having happy times with you. But I needed to do this to sort things out."

Upon hearing this news, netizens commented, "It's not because they didn't have enough money for living expenses, but for shopping," and "I feel like they're only apologizing because they got caught."

It's unfortunate to see a famous idol caught red-handed selling gifts given by fans.
