WJSN's Bona, also known as Kim Ji-yeon, has taken on a new role as the eldest sister in the highly anticipated Tving original series, 'Pyramid Game'. The production presentation was held on August 26th at CGV Yongsan in Seoul, with director Park So-yeon and actors Kim Ji-yeon, Ryu Da-in, Shin Seul-gi, and Kang Na-eon in attendance. Unfortunately, actress Jang Da-ah was unable to attend due to a positive COVID-19 test.

'Pyramid Game' is based on the popular Naver webtoon and depicts a brutal survival hierarchy war in class 2-5 of Baekyeon High School, where students vote for a victim every month. The story follows the students as they become perpetrators, victims, or bystanders in a cycle of violence.

Kim Ji-yeon takes on the role of the main character, Seong Su-ji, who awakens as a "game sniper" determined to break the pyramid hierarchy. As a popular webtoon adaptation, Kim Ji-yeon shared, "I focused on matching the styling and synchronization with the original work." She also revealed that she concentrated on portraying her character, Su-ji, as accurately as possible.

In the drama, Kim Ji-yeon also takes on the role of a victim of school violence. She shared, "There were moments when it was really difficult to act out the scenes of being bullied. But by focusing on the situation and trying to genuinely feel the character's emotions, I was able to overcome it." Her dedication to her role is evident in her powerful and emotional performance.

It's exciting to see Kim Ji-yeon taking on a new and challenging role in 'Pyramid Game'.
