Lee Seon-gu CEO of Playbe Concert Says Fans Can Expect a Smaller-Scale Event Than Anticipated
# Blast Presents: Playbe's Upcoming Concert and Comeback
!
Playbe's highly anticipated solo concert is set to be announced soon. On the 26th, a media showcase was held at MBC Golden Mouse Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul, for the group's comeback with their second mini album 'ASTERUM : 134-1'.
Playbe, a combination of the words "Play" and "Reve", represents their goal of creating a new world to achieve their dreams. They are a self-producing idol group, with all members capable of writing lyrics, composing, and choreographing.
What sets them apart is that they are virtual idols. They have already made history by becoming the first virtual idols to join Weverse, launching their official fan club, opening a pop-up store to celebrate their 1st debut anniversary, and announcing plans for their first solo concert and self-produced content. LeeSeonGu, the CEO of Blast, who was also present at the showcase, revealed that the concert date will be announced soon as they have already secured a venue.
He also mentioned that there may be concerns about the size of the concert, as they did not expect such a huge fan base and had to book a smaller venue than what fans were expecting. This has sparked curiosity about the type of performance Playbe will deliver and in what kind of space. As a fan of Korean music and concerts, I am excited to see what Playbe has in store for their fans.
In the meantime, Playbe's new album 'ASTERUM : 134-1' will be released today at 6 PM KST on various online music platforms. The title track 'WAY 4 LUV' is expected to showcase the group's unique sound and style.
Stay tuned for more updates on Playbe's concert and comeback. Are you excited for their new album? Let us know in the comments below!
