# New Jinse to Perform on Stage at the US Billboard Women in Music Awards

New Jinse is set to take the stage at the 2024 US Billboard Women in Music Awards. The group has been announced as one of the performers for the prestigious event, which will be held on December 6th at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.

 

The Billboard Women in Music Awards, which started in 2007, recognizes the most influential female artists, creators, producers, and executives in the music industry. This year, New Jinse will be the only K-pop female artist to receive the Group of the Year Award and also perform at the event, solidifying their position as a global sensation.

New Jinse has had a remarkable year in 2023, achieving great success with their second EP "Get Up." The album topped the Billboard 200 chart and five of its songs, "OMG," "Ditto," "Super Shy," "ETA," and "Cool With You," entered the Hot 100 chart. "Get Up" was also the fifth best-selling physical album in the US last year, making it the highest-ranking album by a K-pop female artist and the second-highest ranking album by a female artist overall, after Taylor Swift's "1989 ."

As a fan of New Jinse, I am thrilled to see them receive such recognition on a global stage.
