On the upcoming pilot variety show 'Song Stealer,' MBC has paired Red Velvet's Wendy and Seo Woo Jung Ah to compete in a fierce battle over Red Velvet's hit song 'Psycho.'

'Song Stealer' is a new concept music program that gives partners the chance to steal each other's desired songs. The show will feature a 1:1 Steal Battle where partners steal each other's songs and a Duet Steal Battle where they team up to steal someone else's song.

 

On the episode airing on the 9th, Wendy and Seo Woo Jung Ah will compete over 'Psycho' after revealing that they are both huge fans of each other. Seo Woo Jung Ah, also known as the "SM Killer" for successfully stealing songs from Red Velvet's 'Peek-A-Boo' to aespa's 'Next Level,' will showcase her take on 'Psycho.'

The production team shared, "Seo Woo Jung Ah's performance is like a 'killer couple's fight' and she completely transforms into a 'creepy psycho.'" Wendy, who watched Seo Woo Jung Ah's performance, shared that she couldn't even think of her fellow members while watching it and was visibly nervous before her own performance.

Wendy will also surprise viewers with her own arrangement of 'Psycho' as a solo performance. The teaser, which was released on MBC's official Instagram account, has already garnered over 500,000 views, generating even more anticipation for her performance.

Additionally, Wendy will also showcase her take on Seo Woo Jung Ah's '남 .' As fans of each other, viewers are excited to see how they will interpret each other's favorite songs.
